My Gift for Baby Jesus...

We are into the Christmas season, and we are getting ready to celebrate the anniversary of birth of Christ once again. While we are blessed with another beautiful season of Christmas, let's make a gift for our awesone God who came into this world just for the sake of love towards you and me. Our God is an awesone God, who protects us all the time from all problems in our day to day life. He is with us every time and He speaks to us. Now, in this Christmas season, let's give something back to Jesus, on his b'day. A beautiful gift that we will make our own. Isn't that a good idea? Let's prepare ourselves during these days to give our Christ a beautiful gift.

I would like to share a couple of things which we can do, so that through these deeds, we create a special gift for our sweet God :-). Each day we will do some deeds there by making parts of gifts which we will complete in a couple of days.

December 1st  : Today is the first day for preparing a gift. So let's make ourselves a bit closer to God. Spent some time with Him and understand what He needs from us. Let's spend some time alone with Jesus today.
December 2nd : Today we are ready to make the gifts. So, let's fast once today. May be we will sacrifice breakfast, or lunch or dinner and pray for those who are struggling for their daily bread.
December 3rd : Today let's make a promise to our God that, we will not try to waste time on unwanted talks. In the mean time, we will be in silence as much as we can, so that we can hear the voice of God.
December 4th : Today let's spend some time with Jesus. Probably we will attend Holy Mass today. After Holy Mass, we will sit some more time and pray. In this prayer, we surrender all our needs and offer thanks to Him for his wonderful blessings.
December 5th : Today we shall make ourselves pure in heart. Let's reflect ourselves about our deeds and thoughts and confess if we can. We are doing this so that, we can have a free mind and pure heart to talk with our God.

By December 5th night, we are ready with a small cute dress for Baby Boy, Jesus Christ. Let's keep that safely so that we can present this to Him on the Christmas eve. Make sure this dress is not getting dirty. So, revisit the above deeds in the coming days also so that, our gift is not going wasted. Also do not break this process in between, because if we do so, we may not be able to give a completed gift for our cute Baby:-).

December 6th : Today onwards, let's do something more to make a gift. We will find out a needy friend of ours and help him/her with the need without expecting anythin in return.
December 7th : Let's remember our parents today. If we see them today, we will wish them with a smile and obey what they say to us. We will remember to spend some time talking and praying for them also.
December 8th : Let's try to study a Word of God from Holy Bible. If this is not possible, let's spend some time in silence away from our busy schedules. God will surely talk to us.
December 9th : Today we will sacrifise the snacks that we may have with Tea in the evening. Let's do this not for the sake of doing, but with the prayer that, my dear God, help the needy persons in this world so that they can experience your love.
December 10th : We can recite a rosary today. For those who are not able to recite, will try to say "God Loves You Personally" to as much people as possible.

By December 10th, we are ready with yet another gift for Christ. This time we have made a cotton pillow/bed, so that the baby can comfortably. Let's keep this gift also in our treausre along with the dress we have made. Make sure these gifts are not getting dirty. So revisit the previos deeds atleast once so that, we can make sure, the gifts are perfectly alright:-).

December 11th : Today we will visit any person who is having health issues or illness. We will help them in a possible way we can. Atleast we will spend some time praying for that person today.
December 12th : Today we will be praying for all our collegues and thier families, so that every one is united in love and helping mentality.
December 13th : Today we will be punctual in our timings and works. Be comitted  to our works and get it done completely as much as you can.
December 14th : Let's pray for our country today. For all the politicians and leaders who lead our Nation. Let our country be free from all attacks and problems. We will spend some time to pray for our country. We will also ask others to pray for our country.
December 15th : Today we will be praying for all new born babies and for all pregnant women for retaining their health and stay protected from all evil.

By December 15th, we are ready with a Bed Sheet for our Baby Jesus, so that He can stay warm even in the cold. Keep it safely in the store for now. Now we have to make a small box ready and pack all these gifts together. Let's revisit all the deeds that we have done. if we were not able to do some of these, now is the time to complete those. By completing them, we are ready with a gift box to pack all the gifts inside:-)

Chirstmas Candle.... Let's prepare ourselves for Christmas!

A Christmas candle is a lovely thing; It makes no noise at all,But softly gives itself away. These are the words by Eva Logue. Let's make this christmas season as beautiful as a Christmas Candle. Let's enjoy each and every day in december by making ourselves a bit committed to our works and being in a prayerful environment. Let us try be light to those who are in darkness, a shoulder to those who are in troubles, a support to those who are in grief, and so on.


As years pass by, we are moving ahead in our life by gaining more and more knowledge, experience and information. Let us also wish to grow spiritually and take this Christmas Season as a perfect oppurtunity to grow spiritually. Only when we do something with good will, we will get satisfied. I shall pray to God that, let this Christmas Season be a beautiful experience to all people in this world and let them have a heart like Christmas Candle which softly gives away itself for the welbieng of everything around it.

ദൈവത്തിനു കൊടുക്കേണ്ട സ്ഥാനം കൊടുക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നമുക്ക് കിട്ടേണ്ട സ്ഥാനം നമുക്ക് കിട്ടും. ഓരോ ചെറിയ കാര്യങ്ങളിലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇടപെടല്‍ അനുഭവിക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അത് ഒരു വലിയ കാര്യമാണ്. ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ വരുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകള്‍ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ സഹിക്കുവാന്‍ നമുക്ക് കഴിയും. ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കാനായി ഒത്തിരി ത്യാഗങ്ങള്‍ എടുക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ നമ്മള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഓരോ ചെറിയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളിലും ആത്മാര്‍ഥത ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവര്‍ത്തി കൊണ്ട് മറ്റൊരാള്‍ക്ക് നന്മയാണ് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അത് ഒരു ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവം ആണ്.  നമ്മള്‍ തിയറി പഠിക്കാറുണ്ട് . എന്നാല്‍ ചില  കാര്യങ്ങൾ പ്രാക്ടിക്കല്‍ ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴായിരിക്കും കൂടുതല്‍ മനസിലാവുന്നത്. ഇത് പോലെ തന്നെ, ദൈവ സ്നേഹത്തെ കുറിച്ച് മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ സ്വന്തം ജീവിതം കൊണ്ട് കാണിച്ചു കൊടുമ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ വലിയ സമാധാനവും സ്നേഹവും നിറയുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ഉത്തമ ഉദാഹരണമാണ് മദര്‍ തെരേസ. സ്വന്തം ജീവിതം കൊണ്ട് ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയ വ്യക്തി. ആരോടും ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ എടുത്തില്ല.. എന്നാല്‍ മദര്‍-നെ കണ്ടു മുട്ടിയവര്‍ക്ക് വലിയ ദൈവാനുഭവം ലഭിച്ചു. മനോഹരമായ ഒരു പുഞ്ചിരിയിലൂടെ പോലും ദൈവസ്നേഹം മറ്റുള്ളവരിലേക്ക് പകര്‍ന്നു കൊടുക്കാന്‍ മദര്‍-ന് കഴിഞ്ഞു.
നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലും ഇങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള അവസരങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാവും. മറ്റുള്ളവരോട് കാണിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ പോലും, സ്വന്തം വീട്ടില്‍ ഈ ഒരനുഭവം കൊണ്ട് വരാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു നോക്കാം. മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ നമ്മുടെ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ദൈവങ്ങളാണ്. അവരെ ആത്മാര്‍ഥമായി സ്നേഹിച്ചാല്‍ മാത്രം മതി നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതം അനുഗ്രഹപ്രദമാകും. ജീവിതത്തിലെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകള്‍ക്ക് നടുവില്‍ നമുക്ക് വേണ്ടി ജീവിച്ചു തീര്‍ക്കുന്ന മാതാപിതാക്കളെ നോക്കി സ്നേഹതോണ്ടെ ഒന്ന് പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചാല്‍ അവിടെ ദൈവ സ്നേഹം നിറയും. വലിയ ശാന്തത അനുഭവിക്കും.

ഇനി വരും നാളുകളില്‍ ദൈവ സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ വലിയ ഒരു അല എല്ലാരുടെയും ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ എന്ന് ദൈവത്തോട് പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കുന്നു.. ദൈവം നമ്മളെ എല്ലാവരെയും സമിര്ധമായ്  അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.

Being thankful at our mistakes can make ourselves to study valuable lessons. Being thankful means accepting our own mistakes by heart and without hesitation. Try to learn from the mistakes. Mistakes are common and as we all know, failure is the stepping stone to success.

Each and every moment we are learning new things in our life. Every human is a student until his life ends. Whatever comes in his life teaches something new. It is same when mistakes also come. They may not be intentional, but still accepting them can bring so many changes in our life and also in others life. We have many examples in front of us who have shown that, mistakes are not just the end of our life. Even the word mistake says 'you have mis-took' something. It was not the correct place you had to take it. That may be an act or a thought or a decision...anything that you have taken in a wrong manner is mistake. But still it tells us, you have an area to be improved. It shows us the success is when we approach in another way and not the present way.

And while talking about mistakes, the most common problem that we face is, repeating the same mistakes. There is a short story which relates this...
There were two friends, Joe and Mike. Both were well built and healthy persons. Their hobby is hunting. Every week they go into the nearby forest and will have a good time there hunting.
And in a fine evening, as usual they went for hunting and after a long time, they shot two big wild bulls. These animals had to be brought out of the forest. So mike called for a helicopter which arrived soon. They tied the first bull on to it and started to tie the second one also. The pilot reminded them that, the helicopter couldn't manage both animals at the same time. But Joe and mike said, it is ok. We have taken two similar animals at the same time in a helicopter at the same time. The pilot with a small hesitation agreed and after tying they began to fly off.... After some time, the balance of the helicopter was going down and suddenly it crashed into the forest.
After a very long time, Joe and Mike managed to get up and they looked around. Mike asked Joe, 'Where are we?'. Joe replied: "The same place where we fell last week!!!".

See... this is what happens to us also. We see a lot in our life. but we just ignore the best part. We may leave all the good things which could make us more better and go behind the unwanted things. Try to see what is good in what we do. Learn from the mistakes and try to make some improvement on them so that the same mistake is not happening again and we can just convert them into success.

At last let me say, find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Personal Freedom makes our life easier...!!

I would say, personal freedom is very important in one's life. It helps him/her to live an easier and peaceful life.

There are situations where we may get confused in taking some crutial decisions. We may actually seeks other's opinions too. And in most of the cases, we may be forced to go with their opinion, which may not be acceptable by us. This doesn't mean, we should not ask opinions to others. But on the go, we could try to get justifications for their opinions. All of us are capable of making decisions and we will have our own opinions. Whe we rely on other's opinions, make sure that, those things have valid reasons and justifications, so that we can accept them. If we are convinced, then we can sacrifice our thoughts on it.

If we are still not able to accept them, then do not hesitate to go with our own thoughts or decisions. Ofcourse, not all decisions can be correct. But atleast we can be relaxed, thinking that, this is my life and i have to face it. Morethan anything, our personal freedom is not a thing which has to be surrendered just for the sake of others. Everyone can tell opinions...but all those will be from their own perspective. They can help us in analysing the situation by getting different perspectives on a problem. But the final decision should be ours. Because God will not give problems to us which is beyond our problem. God has created l Let man with soft heart. His problems are created by himself. These are the words from Holy Bible. As we have heard, let's believe this: When we are in problems, do not be upset and complain to God... But instead, be proud because, God beleives in your ability to solve these problems. So let's be truthful to our God, who believes in our ability.

Very true words and a good thought to relate our lives. Storms can come at any time into our lives. But they are the real opportunity for us to showcase our real talent and strength to overcome it.

Joy and Sadness are gifts of God

I have read somewhere: "God is truly wise: He made sadness, so we'd know what joy is."
Isn't it true? To me, it is true. I accept that 100% :).

Every human desires to be joyful each and every moment. They do what ever they can so as to remain Joyful. But at times there are situations where we face the unexpected entry of sadness in our lives. We may get exhausted by its entry. But unexpected sadness gives us a reminder that, our life has to be balanced in all situations. As we have heard 'Too much of one thing, good for nothing', it is good to have something which is very small.

God is truly wise, as he has created both sorrow and sadness in a single place. But the sad factor is that, we are not aware about this. Both these are kept at same place which is within us. We wander here and there in search of joy when we are in deep sadness. We may end up exhausted and all our dreams would have perished. But the moment we find the place where God has placed joy, we will be the winner. God does not want us to be sad. But he wants us to know the value of Joy. So He gave us sadness which enters our life once in a while. As the Holy Bible says, 'The truth shall set you free, or The truth will set you free'.

Let's hope to understand truth. Let's start to believe that both joy and sadness is kept at the same place and there is no other place where we can find but is within us. Just take a short pause to look what is within us. We will definitely get the answer to all our questions(these are not my words or thoughts!!! I have read or heard somewhere).

Actions speak louder than words!!!

This is a well known proverb. 'Actions speak louder than words'. At times this is being forgotten. Especially when we get a chance to advice others on something.

It is easy to speak words and develop the confidence within. But to really win the event, mere knowledge is not enough. But, strong experience can give advantage to us. Whenever we hear good thoughts that are inspiring to us, we think it is easy to overcome all the problems easily. But when we face the reality, it may be difficult to be so as we thought.

Many people have commented the same. While going through difficult situations, they never thought it is so difficult than what they have heard. And the most important thing is that, all the inspiring words which they have heard to overcome the situation has not helped them much in coming out of it. What might be the problem here?? It is simple(of course in my point of view). Whatever be the situation and whatever be the solution, for the first time we will have to bear that situation and admit that, we are on a learning phase :). Only for the first time we face this difficulty. next time onwards, we will be well prepared to overcome the reality.
